amaran COB 200x S Bi-Color LED Monolight

The amaran COB 200x S Bi-Color LED Monolight expands amaran’s S-series LED lineup with an all-in-one form factor inspired by the previous COB 200x, while introducing an upgraded LED chipset for better spectral quality and more accurate color reproduction.

This 200W fixture provides a flexible 2700-6500K color temperature range, making it easy to match tungsten, daylight, or mixed lighting environments in interviews, product scenes, livestreams, and creative video setups.

Adjustments can be made directly from the onboard LCD interface or wirelessly from up to 100m away using the Sidus Link app. The fixture supports worldwide AC power and can also run on optional V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries using a separately available 2-Bay Battery Power Station.

The S-series improves spectral continuity for enhanced color quality, achieving SSI Tungsten 90 and SSI D56 89, an 18.6% increase in SSI compared to the previous generation.

With CRI 95, TLCI 98, CQS 97, and TM-30 Rf 97 / Rg 101 color performance, the COB 200x S helps reproduce accurate skin tones and consistent colors for videos, photos, livestreams, and interviews.

Unmodified, the 200x S emits up to 6400 lux at 1m at 5600K. When paired with the included Hyper Reflector, output increases to an impressive 45,400 lux at 1m, making it suitable for both soft and intense lighting across different production environments.

The fixture includes 9 built-in lighting effects for quickly simulating creative looks and cinematic scenarios.

The amaran COB 200x S features a full-size Bowens S mount, giving access to a wide range of light shapers for soft, diffused, or more directional output.
