Nanlite Para 150 Softbox with Bowens Mount

Ideal for portraits or fashion, the Nanlite Para 150 is a 150cm  (16-sided) parabolic quick-open softbox with a Bowens mount, delivering a soft, focused output with a punchy, crisp edge that adds dimension and detail to your subject and produces natural-looking catchlights.

The unique 59" depth creates significant edge falloff for enhanced directional control, decreased spill light, and easy feathering. It ships with 1- and 2-stop front diffusers for flexible contrast control, includes a Bowens Type-S speed ring, and comes with a carry bag for storage and transport.

The reflective silver interior maximizes output, while the removable front diffuser softens the beam and reduces contrast. The parabolic shape creates even illumination with wraparound quality and natural-looking catchlights.

Its deep profile produces a focused beam with increased directional control, minimal spill light, and significant falloff—perfect for feathering and precision lighting.

Nanlite includes both 1-stop and 2-stop front diffusers to further refine light quality. Use both together for maximum softness, use one at a time for balanced output, or remove both for a higher-contrast reflector-like look.

With no diffusers attached, the Para 150 effectively becomes a large reflector that outputs higher-contrast light.

Designed to complement Nanlite Forza LEDs, the Para 150 includes a Bowens Type-S quick-open speed ring. This near-universal modifier mount broadens compatibility across a wide range of LED, strobe, and constant-light sources.

Built around a quick-open speed ring with spring-loaded rod locks, the Para 150 snaps together fast for immediate shooting, then collapses quickly at the touch of a button for efficient pack-down and transport.
