Overview

The HMD 300 XQ-2 combines Sennheiser’s HMD 300 Pro communications headset with the Cable-II-X3K1-Gold detachable cable. Its closed-back, circumaural design offers up to 32 dB passive noise attenuation, while plush ear pads and a split-padded headband deliver all-day comfort for broadcast, live events, and studio comms.

A hypercardioid dynamic boom mic focuses on speech with an 80 Hz–16 kHz range and ~45 dB adjustable audio range for optimal levels. The boom can be worn on either side, and ActiveGard can be engaged to protect hearing from sudden peaks—without interrupting the signal. The included 6.6′ straight cable features a short coiled section to reduce handling noise and terminates in gold-plated XLR-3 (mic) and 1/4″ TRS (headphones).
