The 50-130 mm focal range offers flexible medium-to-telephoto framing without the need to change lenses during production.

At 50 mm, the lens is suitable for medium shots, portraits, and subject-focused compositions. At 130 mm, it provides tighter framing and a narrower angle of view.

The 2.6× zoom ratio supports practical reframing for documentaries, interviews, and cinematic productions.

The maximum T2.9 transmission aperture remains constant throughout the entire zoom range, helping maintain consistent exposure as focal length changes.

This is particularly useful for continuous zoom moves and shooting in challenging lighting conditions.

The aperture range extends from T2.9 to T22, while the 11-blade iris contributes to smooth out-of-focus rendering.

The optical formula consists of 17 elements in 13 groups, designed to deliver sharp, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction.

This optical construction supports consistent image quality throughout the zoom range for professional filmmaking applications.

The lens offers 0.18× maximum magnification, equivalent to a 1:5.55 reproduction ratio, allowing relatively close detail shots.

The lens includes an interchangeable ARRI PL mount.

Separately available mount options include Canon RF, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, Sony E, and L-Mount.

The lens does not support electronic communication with the camera body. Controls are manual or operated through compatible cinema accessories.

The lens features a 77 mm front screw-in filter thread, allowing compatible filters to be attached directly.
