The Hollyland Solidcom SE 8S is an affordable, full-duplex wireless intercom system built to improve teamwork for small production crews. Operating on the 1.9 GHz band, it helps reduce interference from common Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices and provides a stable connection at distances up to 1100' (335 m) line-of-sight.

To maintain intelligible communication in noisy environments, Solidcom SE features dual-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), processing audio to cancel surrounding noise so voices come through clearly. With an SNR of 71 dB, it delivers faithful and immersive sound reproduction for better coordination. Auto frequency hopping technology automatically switches frequencies when interference is detected, enhancing overall reliability.

The headsets are designed for outdoor and challenging shoots with wind and water resistance. Protective internal coating helps prevent water penetration, while an advanced algorithm reduces wind noise for clearer speech on breezy locations. The system is factory pre-paired for plug-and-play operation. In addition to Push-to-Talk, a movable mic boom and latching design allow quick switching between mute and talk with a single press. Detachable batteries support continuous power strategies, and the headset also supports USB-C charging, enabling power from an optional power bank when needed.
