Overview
The SmallRig 3639 Half Camera Cage is designed for Sony Alpha cameras such as the a1, a7 IV, a7R IV, and a7S III. It offers lightweight protection while adding flexible accessory mounting options for run-and-gun video shoots and content creation.
The cage includes multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 threads, a NATO rail, and a cold shoe mount for mounting accessories like monitors, microphones, or side handles. The Arca-type baseplate allows for seamless transitions between handheld setups, tripods, and gimbal stabilizers such as DJI RS 2 and RSC 2. It maintains full access to the camera’s grip, controls, battery door, and ports.
