Sony RX100 VII Digital Camera

The Sony DSC-RX100 VII mixes speed, zoom range, and portability in a pocket-sized camera. As an advanced model in the respected RX100 series, it features a built-in 24-200mm equivalent zoom lens that covers wide-angle, everyday shooting, travel, portraits, and distant subjects.

The camera uses a redesigned 20.1MP 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS stacked sensor with integrated DRAM, paired with the BIONZ X processor for high-speed shooting, advanced autofocus, ISO sensitivity up to 12800, and UHD 4K video recording.

The RX100 VII keeps the classic compact form of the series while adding a pop-up OLED electronic viewfinder, 180° tilting touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus a 3.5mm microphone input for improved video audio quality.

The RX100 VII uses a 20.1MP 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS stacked sensor with integrated DRAM, increasing data readout speed and enabling features such as Single Burst Shooting, Anti-Distortion electronic shutter, and UHD 4K video.

The sensor works with a revised BIONZ X processor and front-end LSI for improved speed and image quality, enabling blackout-free continuous shooting up to 20 fps with AF/AE calculations up to 60 times per second, plus Single Burst capture up to 90 fps for ultra-fast moments.

The built-in ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* lens offers a 24-200mm equivalent range, giving you strong flexibility from wide-angle scenes to distant subjects while keeping the camera body compact and pocketable.

The lens features a maximum aperture range of f/2.8-4.5 and an optical design with multiple aspherical elements to reduce distortion and aberrations. A ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating helps suppress glare and reflections for improved contrast and color fidelity.

Optical SteadyShot image stabilization provides approximately 4 stops of shake compensation, helping deliver steadier handheld results in low light or at longer focal lengths.

The RX100 VII records UHD 4K up to 30p with high clarity. Using full pixel readout without binning, the camera collects approximately 1.7x the information needed for 4K output, helping reduce moiré and improve detail.
