Kenko Zeta Ultimate ND8 77mm

This ND8  filter reduce the amount of light entering the lens so wider apertures can be selected, which is perfect for portraiture to reduce depth of field. Subject appears crisp and clear while the background becomes a soft blur. Also widely used for photographs of waterfalls and other nature scenes to emphasize movement.

The ND8 reduces light entering the camera lens by the equivant of 2 stops.

The Zeta series debuted in 2009 after a long, exhaustive effort by Kenko to offer the highest end filters. Adopting the newly developed the ZR coat, which achieves one of the world’s best surface reflectivity levels of 0.3% or less (or 0.6% or less with C-PL of low-temperature multi-coat specification), the Zeta series cuts reflection on the filter’s glass surface to eliminate flare and ghosting. All Zeta filters use glass material of the highest quality, and their frame, which retains the filter glass, ensures the maximum degree of flatness.
