Overview

The second-generation Panasonic LUMIX S5 II is designed for content creators who want strong still-image performance alongside sophisticated video capabilities. With a new sensor design and an updated processing engine using L2 technology, the S5 II becomes the first LUMIX camera to feature Phase Hybrid AF for fast, precise focusing—using 779 phase-detection points.

Record 6K30p 4:2:0 10-bit up to 30 minutes, and capture DCI/UHD 4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit with extended/unlimited recording. Handheld performance is supported by 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization with Dual I.S. 2 and a dedicated Active I.S. mode for walking shots. V-Log is pre-installed with an advertised 14+ stops of dynamic range, and Dual Native ISO helps balance low noise and high sensitivity.
