Overview

Compared to the smaller VideoMic GO, the RODE VideoMic offers battery powering, a more extended low-end response, and customizable audio settings, making it a stronger choice for mobile journalists, vloggers, and run-and-gun shooters.

This camera-mount shotgun microphone features an integrated shockmount that attaches directly to DSLR, mirrorless, and video cameras while helping reduce vibration and handling noise. Its included windscreen helps cut wind noise, making it especially well suited for outdoor recording.

With selectable pad settings and an 80 Hz low-cut filter, the VideoMic can be optimized for louder scenes and environments where low-frequency rumble or vibration may affect your recording.
