Overview

The H4essential provides four tracks of recording capability utilizing Zoom’s ultraclean preamps via dual XLR-1/4" combo inputs supporting +48V phantom power. The onboard mixer is highly intuitive, featuring a bright, vivid 2" color LCD screen to view real-time waveforms and adjust tracks instantly.

In addition to functioning as a 4-in / 2-out USB-C audio interface, the device has seen significant improvements with Firmware Version 2.02. This includes an AI noise-reduction function to analyze and reduce environmental noise, as well as MP3 recording and export features. You can also pair it with the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter for remote iOS control and timecode sync.
