With 5.1K60 Open Gate, up to 8.0-stop 5-axis stabilization, and AFC burst shooting up to 70 fps, it adapts to studio, location, and handheld production.

Overview

The Panasonic LUMIX S1 II delivers flagship-level hybrid performance in a flexible full-frame body. It combines a high-speed, 24.1MP partially stacked CMOS sensor with Panasonic’s L2 Engine and Dynamic Range Boost to produce clean detail across the ISO range.

For stills, it offers a 96MP High-Resolution mode and 10-bit HEIF support. For video, it provides a wide selection of 10-bit recording formats including 5.1K60p Open Gate (4:3) and high-frame-rate 4K up to 120p (mode-dependent), plus V-Log/V-Gamut with an advertised 13+ stops of dynamic range and in-camera real time LUT workflows.
