Overview

The DJI SDR Transmission Kit, consisting of both a transmitter and receiver, is designed to deliver stable, high-quality wireless video on small- to medium-sized sets. Leveraging DJI’s proprietary SDR (Software Defined Radio) technology, it uses tri-band (DFS, 2.4 GHz, and 5.8 GHz) automatic frequency hopping to maintain a robust connection with strong penetration and a range of up to 1.9 miles (3 km).

The system supports video transmission up to 1080p60 with a high bit rate of up to 20 Mb/s and a low latency of just 35 ms, providing smooth monitoring and detailed, vibrant images with crisp audio. It is ideal for sending a camera feed to an unlimited number of receivers or mobile devices on crowded sets and in dense architectural environments where consumer Wi-Fi solutions often struggle.

With Broadcast and Control modes, metadata transmission via SDI from mainstream cinema cameras, a Voice Call function, and in-app camera/gimbal control, the kit becomes a powerful hub for on-set collaboration. Flexible power options via L-Series batteries, USB-C PD, or direct gimbal power (DJI RS 4 Pro / RS 4 / RS 3 Pro) simplify rigging for demanding, fast-paced productions.
