Overview

The Jinbei HD-2MAX is an 80 Ws speedlite that can be used on-camera via the hot shoe or off-camera. It features a built-in 2.4 GHz radio receiver for full remote control, a responsive touchscreen for quick navigation, and a switchable COB 3W modeling LED (≈3200–3500 K).

Operate in manual (9.0 stops of adjustment from 1/1 to 1/256) or TTL with flash exposure compensation up to ±3.0 EV. TTL protocol support spans Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, and Sony (Sony via adapter JB.1.06.021611) when used with compatible Jinbei TTL triggers such as TR-Q7 / TR-Q7II / TR-Q7S (Sony) / TR-Q6II / TR-Q8 / TR-Q8S. In normal mode it also works with the wider Jinbei trigger family.

Sync options include front-curtain, rear-curtain, and HSS. Flash duration is exceptionally short: up to 1/29,600 s in Normal mode and up to 1/80,000 s in Freeze mode. The supplied battery delivers up to ≈500 full-power pops.
