The ProGrade Digital 165GB CFexpress Type B (Cobalt) is engineered to capture Raw 8K, 6K, and 4K video without interruptions. Leveraging an NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 bus, it delivers up to 1700 MB/s read and up to 1500 MB/s write, with a minimum sustained write of 1400 MB/s—ideal for long takes and high-bitrate codecs with no dropped frames. It features a metal enclosure with built-in thermal throttling and resistance to shock, vibration, X-rays, and temperature extremes.

Supported professional formats include 8K/6K/4K ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 HQ, and more. It’s backward compatible with select XQD cameras via manufacturer firmware, compliant with CFexpress 1.0 and 2.0, and uses controllers optimized for pro cameras. Pair with Refresh Pro to restore performance and monitor card health.
