SmallRig 3575 Mini Matte Box Lite

The Mini Matte Box Lite helps shield the front of the lens from unwanted incident light, reducing the potential for lens flare and reflections that can affect image contrast.

Its included carbon fiber top flag can be positioned to block unwanted light coming from above or from angles near the front of the lens.

When not actively shooting, the top flag can be folded down to cover the front opening of the matte box, providing additional physical protection for the lens front.

The SmallRig Mini Matte Box Lite accepts standard 4 x 5.65" rectangular cinema filters through a slide-in filter tray system.

The package includes one removable filter tray. Multiple compatible filters can be mounted with additional trays purchased separately.

Circular filters measuring up to 92.5mm in diameter can also be used, subject to the compatible mounting configuration.

The matte box features a 95mm opening and attaches directly to compatible lens fronts using the appropriate threaded adapter ring.

Four adapter rings are included to support the following lens filter thread sizes:

For additional lens sizes, the optional SmallRig 3383 Adapter Ring Kit provides 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, and 86mm adapters. This kit is sold separately.

Constructed from carbon fiber, ABS plastic, and aluminum, the SmallRig Mini Matte Box Lite provides a balance of strength and portability.

Weighing approximately 108g / 3.8 oz, its compact body measures 176 x 134 x 46.5mm, making it suitable for lightweight camera rigs.

The matte box attaches through a lens clamp mounting system. It does not feature a swing-away mechanism.
