Overview

The Laowa Probe Zoom 8-Lens Bundle combines two specialized macro zoom systems with four viewing directions each, creating a versatile solution for professional cinematic storytelling.

The long probe-style construction allows the front of each lens to travel into confined environments and approach subjects from perspectives that conventional camera lenses cannot easily achieve.

The 15-24mm T8 system provides a 1.6x zoom ratio with up to 1.6x macro magnification, while the 15-35mm T12 system provides a wider 2.3x zoom ratio and reaches 2.3x macro magnification.

Both systems cover full-frame sensors with a specified 43.2mm image circle. At the 15mm focal length, they provide an ultrawide 110.5° angle of view.

A minimum 5mm front working distance allows extremely close subject positioning, making the lenses suitable for capturing highly detailed product, nature, food, and miniature cinematography.

Long Waterproof Probe Tube Design

The probe lenses feature long, narrow tubular designs that extend the optical viewpoint into spaces that are difficult to access with conventional lenses.

Their overall lengths vary by configuration from approximately 539.2 to 545.6mm. The waterproof front tubular section extends approximately 35cm.

This construction supports creative shooting around water, liquids, wet surfaces, and other challenging environments within the intended waterproof section.

Waterproof protection applies to the designated front section of the tube, not the entire lens housing or attached camera.
