It features four ultraclean XLR/TRS inputs and a hot-swappable X/Y mic capsule (Capsule System 3.0) that can handle 135 dB with ease—equivalent to a jet airplane taking off. It offers a versatile, pain-free audio solution for musicians, filmmakers, and podcasters alike.

Overview

The H6essential functions as a portable studio. It features an intuitive onboard mixer with a bright 2" color display to adjust individual tracks and view waveforms in real time. Beyond field recording, the H6essential utilizes its USB-C port to act as a powerful 6-in / 2-out audio interface, allowing you to stream up to two channels of audio to computers and smart devices while recording to an SD card.

With the Firmware Version 3.02 update, the H6essential becomes even more capable. It introduces an AI noise-reduction function to analyze and reduce environmental noise, MP3 recording/playback features, and support for the Zoom Handy Control app. Additionally, the Essential Series is designed with accessibility in mind, providing audible menu descriptions in seven languages for the visually impaired.
